A new NFL rivalry is growing up right before our eyes. It was born when the Eagles stunned the Patriots in the Super Bowl. And it matured on Tuesday when Eagles All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson blasted the Patriots for their arrogance, and claimed that Patriots owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick talked trash to Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and coach Doug Pederson before the Super Bowl. Appearing on The Steve Austin Show, Johnson explained why he seemingly hates the Patriots.
Meanwhile, as Pederson Cheap Quality Jerseys received universal acclaim for his play-calling and aggressive mindset, Belichick was Cheap Official Jerseys forced to dodge questions behind his mysterious choice to bench cornerback Malcolm Butler — a decision he still hasn’t explained, by the way. To put it simply, Pederson out-coached Belichick, and it wasn’t particularly close. Obviously, one game doesn’t make Pederson a better coach than Belichick. Regardless of what happened in Super Bowl LII, Belichick remains the game’s greatest coach, arguably ever. But for one night — a pretty important one too — Pederson beat Belichick.
“I felt like I got a little too big last year,” Gholston relayed to Buckner.
“He’s actually 15 pounds lighter right now,” Buckner said. “He’s been working to evolve himself mentally, too. Because the hardest thing you can do as a player is to look at [yourself] and be critical of [yourself].”
Gholston signed a five-year contract extension with the Buccaneers last year just before reaching free agency. He’s appeared in 71 career games and recorded 224 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Offers from Maryland and Cincinnati would soon follow, with more sure to come, maybe even as soon as this week.
Rutgers offered me as a preferred walk on at first and now they are recruiting me as a scholarship player, Deveney said. They want to come to see me at the workout tomorrow at Hun, and they said they are gonna stay in touch.
